Who we are
This notice is provided by Latisha Williams, trading as Kkumvia, Jefferson, Georgia, USA. KKUMVIA is the controller of the personal information described here, meaning we decide how and why it is used.
What we collect and why
- Inquiry details (name, email, phone, business, service interest, budget, message) — to respond and prepare quotes. Legal basis: steps before a contract / legitimate interests.
- Account and login details (name, email, email and password credentials) — to create and secure your portal account. Basis: contract.
- Project information (forms, signed agreements, files, messages, task requests) — to deliver agreed services. Basis: contract.
- Content sent to the Document Assistant — processed by an AI service provider only to produce your summary and action items. Basis: contract.
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, basic logs) — for security, fraud prevention and keeping the site working. Basis: legitimate interests.
We never sell your information. Card and payment details are collected by Paddle, not by us.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who host our website, database, files and AI features, under confidentiality obligations;
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our services, payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing;
- Professional advisers such as legal or accounting professionals, when needed;
- Authorities, where required by law.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to 24 months. Client records, agreements and invoices are kept for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (generally up to 7 years). Data is then deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. If you are in the UK or EEA you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond within one month. Contact us through our contact page or portal messages.
Security
We use encryption in transit, private file storage, role-based access controls so each client only sees their own records, and we never ask for passwords or card numbers through forms or email.
Cookies
We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and the site working. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear stored data in your browser settings, though you'll need to sign in again.
